Technology Arts Sciences (TH K), formerly known as Cologne University of Applied Sciences, was founded in 1971 and is well recognized by German employers for its department of Business Administration and Management. In 1995 the department was ranked 14th out of 120 German–speaking universities reviewed by Germany's Manager Magazine. TH-K is located close to the city center of Cologne near the banks of the Rhine River. 

The GlobalMBA is a unique program providing graduate students the opportunity to combine intensive classroom study with residential experiences in four countries: Germany, Poland, China and the United States. University of Warsaw is one of the four excellent universities in the program. Each year, all universities would select up to 10 students to join into the program. The students would study and travel in four universities in four countries in 15 months. After fulfilling all graduation requirement, students would be granted two master degrees including Master of Arts in International Management and Intercultural Communication, delivered jointly by the TH Köln and the University of Warsaw.
