Founded in 1821, Heriot Watt University has a rich heritage and is valued for its pioneering research informed by the global needs of business and industry, formerly known as Edinburgh Institute of technology, has a long history of being the eighth largest institution of higher education in the UK.
The Edinburgh campus has beautiful environment and complete facilities, providing students with all the daily needs. Facilities include supermarkets, bookstores, Royal Bank of Scotland, restaurants, medical centers, sports colleges and student service offices. The surrounding business research park makes business and enterprise a part of university life. The University Library on Edinburgh campus is open during the semester and holidays. In addition, they also publish current affairs briefs for international students, arrange airport pick up and drop off, and help 10 international student clubs to organize various activities. Academic advisers can help students solve problems related to the course.
Heriot-Watt University agrees to collaborate with DUFE in the development of an articulated undergraduate program allowing for credit exemption between HWU and DUFE contributing to the award of a bachelor’s degree. Students could choose a major from Accountancy & Finance, Business & Finance, Finance, Economics, International Business Management and etc.
