On November 17th, 2023, Mr. Peter Zhang, Chief Manager of China Center, UA, and Mr. Jeremy Jiang, China Affairs Advisor, UA, paid a visit to School of International Studies, DUFE(DUFE-SIS). Xiaoyu Ding, Dean of SIS and Chuanzhong Tang, Deputy Dean of SIS have warmly welcomed the visitors.

During the meeting, the two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on the cooperative majors, curricula and admission requirements for the 1+3 customized program at the undergraduate level to be offered by University of Arizona and DUFE-SIS.

Peter Zhang conducted a presentation for the DUFE undergraduate students. He introduced the advantages and characteristics of University of Arizona, the scholarship criteria, career prospects and academic support services for students.

University of Arizona, referred to as UA, was founded in 1885, is the state’s flagship public university and the first comprehensive university, the world’s first-class research universities, the prestigious United States of America, one of the “public Ivy League” universities. University of Arizona is also one of the 65 member schools of the Association of American Universities (AAU), a consortium of top research universities in North America. UA has ranked 285th in the 2024 QS rankings, and its Management Information System (MIS) discipline has known as the MIS three giants with MIT and Carnegie Mellon University, which enjoys a high reputation in the world. Its MIS specialty ranks second in the United States, Entrepreneurship specialty ranks 10th in the United States, Accounting specialty ranks 17th in the United States, and Management and Organization specialty ranks 19th in the United States.
